A London Way Back To Me speaks of the journey to self-recovery—moving through loss and healing, reclaiming, forgiving (without forgetting), moving on, and slowly finding a way back home.

Partly recorded at Abbey Road Studios, Melina took on a self-reclaiming journey and brings the audience along with her through a documentary capturing the behind-the-scenes of the EP’s creative process.

Each song represents a chapter of that journey—reclaiming what was hers and letting go of what was not. This short album sets the record straight, like a final conclusion: the end of a chapter, and the beginning of another.

An album with a pop/soul color inspired by the last couple of years that shaped the woman she has become, Melina offers her most vulnerable and personal work to date, signing both lyrics and music of every song on the album. Produced by Jacques Roy at Studios OPUS, with the participation of Kim Richardson and Dorian Sherwood in the choir as well as a string quartet under the supervision of Christian Prévost, this very organic album is a project that Melina has been working on for the past six years. With influences of artists Sara Bareilles, Adele and Lauren Daigle, this album is made up of songs that showcase the singer-songwriter’s rich and warm powerful vocals, very catchy melodies and international arrangements.
